Some celebrities who don’t do Botox have tried the cosmetic injections at least once, other are firmly against it on principle.
One of the biggest anti-Botox advocates, Kate Winslet, told The Telegraph “I’m an actress. I don’t want to freeze the expression of my face”, and that’s part of the reasoning why many other actresses reject the procedures.
Find out which starts turned into anti-Botox advocates, some after trying it, many without ever getting a single injection.
Jennifer Aniston
The 45 year old actress is one of the celebrities who don’t do Botox. Without having a bad experience, she’s simply not a fan of the frozen face look.
“I tried Botox once and it was not good. It makes women look older. Harder. The warmth in their faces goes away… You see women and you know they’re not young, but you can’t tell how old they are,” she told the Daily Mail.
Emma Thompson
Even though she’s 55, English actress Emma Thompson doesn’t fear wrinkles, and she’s opposed to any cosmetic enhancements. “Look at me, I’m normal. I really wouldn’t do anything. It’s psychotic to have your body opened up and stuff put in and inject yourself with poisons,” she told British talk show host Graham Norton.
Kylie Minogue
Kylie is also one of the celebrities who don’t do Botox, but she only arrived at her current stance after trying the injections. “I did use Botox, but I don’t any more. I won’t go near it. I have lines. You can see the lines on my face,” she explained, while also crediting makeup artists and lighting experts for her flawless look in her music videos and photoshoots.

Nicole Kidman
47-year old Nicole Kidman was once considered one of the biggest Botox abusers in Hollywood, but in recent years, her forehead has begun to show signs of movement again. “I did try Botox, unfortunately, but I got out of it and now I can finally move my face again,” Nicole explained.
Cindy Crawford
As one of the biggest supermodels of the ‘90s, Cindy Crawford has a lot of pressure to look her best, but she’s still one of the celebrities who don’t do Botox. “I’ve tried Botox, but it scares me. Plastic surgery is scary, but as long as you don’t use these things to change your face, I think it’s OK,” she told Ladies’ Home Journal.
Rachel Weisz
Academy Award winner Rachel Weisz has joined Kate Winslet and Emma Thompson to form the joke “British Anti-Cosmetic Surgery League”. She even told the NY Post that Botox use should be restricted: “It should be banned for actors, as steroids are for sportsmen. Acting is all about expression – why would you want to iron out a frown?”

Salma Hayek
Many celebrities who don’t do Botox actually object to the details of the procedure, not the effects. Mexican-born actress Salma Hayek says she’ll never do it because she fears the needles: “I have no Botox. The thought of a needle coming to my forehead, it really gives me the heebie-jeebies.”
Gwyneth Paltrow
Paltrow went through a “conscious uncoupling” from Botox after she didn’t like the effect. “I’ll try anything. Except I won’t do Botox again, because I looked crazy. I looked like Joan Rivers!” she told Harper’s Bazaar. The comedienne replied to the offensive comment, telling People magazine: “She should see what I look like without Botox. That’s really scary!”.
Susan Sarandon
67 year old Susan Sarandon is one of the celebrities who don’t do Botox, and she claims that has actually helped her career. “You can see I haven’t had Botox or these lines wouldn’t be here, but when you do that it becomes very mask like and that frightens me. I have an advantage if I’m the only one that actually looks 60, then I’ll get all those parts because there won’t be any actresses that look 60 around.”

Tina Fey
Star and creator of “30 Rock”, Tina Fey claims she has tried plenty of laser treatments, but no Botox. “People who have too much, they look like their faces are full of candles – a shiny, shiny face,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.
Drew Barrymore
Curiosity and fear of long-term effects is what convinced Drew Barrymore to join the ranks of celebrities who don’t do Botox. “We don’t know what the long-term effects are… I’d rather look like a basset hound than do that to my face!” she explained.
