Looks like the Kolors Kollection of OPI won’t be the only major income source for the Kardashian sisters this fall. The girls are ready to help their fans make a fashion statement with figure flattering dresses, seductive lingerie designs, eye-catching jewelry, high heels and interesting handbags.
The project is the direct result of the sisters’ ambition to do an extensive line that would capture the essence of their fashion style. As Kim puts it:’This was our ultimate dream ever is to, you know, create our own clothing line, go into bedding and home, denim, lingerie, ready-to-wear, everything… from shoes to accessories, handbags… Fashion is our life.’
The collection, which will hit the web on August 11 and which will arrive in 400 stores nation wide on August 25 is designed to help women with different body shapes and sizes feel comfortable and seductive. Khloe was the one to deliver this body positive message across: “Women should celebrate their bodies. The three of us have very different body types, and we were very conscious about designing pieces to complement every woman’s figure.”
She also added that her absolute favorite piece from the collection is the printed jumpsuit ($68.99). The fabric on this style in particular is so comfortable and easy to wear,’ she told Luckymag: “This cut also really compliments my height. Dress it up with heels and glam jewels or dress it down with flats and simple accessories for day.”
Kourtney, on the other hand, believes that jewelry is the style element that can really take an outfit to the next level: “I love the jewelry in the first collection because it has such a cool, vintage flare. I change up my style all the time and love to play around with accessories in particular—they can really make or break an outfit. I would wear this cuff during the day layered with other little bracelets or at night on its own with a fab dress or chic pants.”
If the girls are all about enhancing their influence in the world of fashion, Sears sees this project as an amazing opportunity to expand the consumer’s perception about the company. John Goodman, executive vice president of apparel and home declared: ‘When you think of Sears you think of appliances, you think of tools. With prices that range from $20 to $99, the collection might seem a bargain for hard core fans and a little pricy option for fashionistas who keep an eye on other celebrity fashion projects.
