Due to her age, this procedure was most likely carried out to counteract the visible signs of aging such as saggy skin. As people grow older, the skin around the neck starts to sag and some people develop jowls. The only way to counteract this highly visible sign of aging is to use a facelift. Although she has not publicly spoken out about having a facelift, it appears obvious in pictures.
In addition to a facelift, Vanna has also had a nose job. This helped to reshape her nose and give a more refined look to it. Judging by the pictures, White used rhinoplasty to narrow the bridge of her nose. As a result, she has a better profile in photos and a classier look. For an older woman, Vanna White maintains an impressive appearance. Although most ladies want to age gracefully, she basically has to use plastic surgery to work in her field. As an actress on the Wheel of Fortune, her look represents the show. Fortunately, all of these plastic surgery procedures appear to have just enhanced her natural beauty.
